Antiacne agent (topical)
Each 100g gel contains:
tretinoin 0.25 g
Acne vulgaris treatment (grade II and III acne)
Dosage and administration:
Apply a pea-sized amount onto 1 fingertip; dot onto the chin, cheeks, nose, and forehead; then gently rub over entire face at bed time.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Category C, not for use in nursing.
It is contraindicated in individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to preparations containing tretinoin, clindamycin or lincomycin, a history of regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis or a history of antibiotic-associated colitis.
Warning and precautions:
Systemic absorption of clindamycin has been demonstrated following topical use. Diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, and colitis (including pseudomembranous colitis) reported; discontinue if significant diarrhea occurs.
For external use only. Keep away from eyes, mouth, angles of the nose, and mucous membranes.
Safety and efficacy have not established for children up 12 years of age.
Avoid exposure to sunlight, including sunlamps. Avoid use if sunburn is present. Daily use of sunscreen products and protective apparel are recommended. Weather extremes (eg, wind, cold) may be irritating while under treatment.
Caution with topical medications, medicated/abrasive soaps and cleansers, soaps/cosmetics with strong drying effect, products with high concentrations of alcohol, astringents, spices, or lime because skin irritation may be increased.
Avoid with erythromycin-containing products.
Antiperistaltic agents (eg, opiates, diphenoxylate with atropine) may prolong and/or worsen severe colitis.
Nasopharyngitis, local skin reactions (erythema, scaling, itching, burning), GI symptoms.
Store below 30 °C ٫ Protect from freezing and direct sun light .
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use after expiration date.
